New for 2012 is our championship format as in the past our
seasonal tournament will pay out 80% of entry fees, and the 20%
will be paid back at the championship tournament.
This year our championship is based on the boat owner and not partners. Boat owners who has fish in 7 Catfish Nation tournaments in the 2012 seasonal trail will have a invitation to enter the championship tournament.
This years championship tournament will be on September 29
from 7am to 4 pm and will follow the rules set for the 2012 season for that body of water.
The tournament river and site will be released at the last seasonal tournament and then posted on our web site and forum. This will then give everyone 2 weeks to fish that spot of the river and it will be on a spot of that river that we didn't host a tournament in the 2012 season.
You will not have to have the same partner for every tournament as we are going by you the boat owner an not as a team. This will open up room for those who enjoy sharing spots on their boat with others during the tournament season.
There will be no entry fees for the championship tournament boat owners with invitations may just show up and fish for cash and prizes with any partner ( NO CATFISH GUIDES).
Payout will be 20% of all tournaments entry fees from the 2012 tournament trail, and will be paid out along with prizes to those with invitations to fish in the championship tournament only, Your payback for supporting the 2012 tournament trail.
All of the money from the season will be split 45 - 25 - 15 -10 - 5 , we will also have prizes to be awarded . This is for the boat owners only it will be up to the boat owner as if to share with their partner/partners or not.
Payout will start with 1st Place and go down the list , Each place may take the money for that place or any one prize up for offer at that time. If a team would take a prize over the money, then the money for that place would be dropped down the to next place in line
