We had 22 teams signed up to fish. We had 3 people become new members.
At the start of the tournament the temperature was 61 degrees. The winds
out of the SW at 19. At 3:30, the temperature was 78 degrees and the wind
was out of SWW at 10. It was mostly cloudy all day with a chance of rain in
the afternoon. The rain held off till about an hour after the tournament. So
we had a real good day for fishing. There was 86 channel catfish caught and a
total weight of 182.4 pounds. The average weight was 2.12 pounds. The big
fish of the day was 5.6 pounds. We had a lot more new faces. Throughout the
morning meeting and the afternoon weighout, it was nice to look out and see
people having a good time.We give the weekend angler a place to come fish and
have fun with others.

Backyard Bait had three raffles, two nice crappie poles and a big water net.
The winners Bob Stockmyer and Mike Line won the crappie poles. JD Snow won

I want to thank North Shore Marina for having coffee and pastries in the
morning and hot dogs in the after noon. A special thanks to Brittney for
weighing fish throgh the day and helping the weigh-in .
