Melvern Lake

For our fourth tournament of the season. We had 26 teams fish at Melvern
lake, the biggest turn out yet.It is nice to see more new faces.The weather
was great, winds sw at 11 and a nice temp. around 90 .The lake was about 1
1/2 feet above normal and slowed the gate down just before the tournament
began. Which made the bite off . Some teams found the fish and others did
not. But I believe all the anglers had a great day on the water.
Darin with BACK YARD BAIT had two nice rod & reels and an Oxygenator live
well fish saver raffle.
We had a great turn out at our weigh in , family members and on lookers from
the lake.

There were 9 Blue Cats , 1 Flat head and 56 Channel cats caught ave. wt.
4.54 lbs. a total was 299.8 lbs.
I would like to give a big thank you to all my help ,with a big turn out.
