Maryland Chapter

The Potomac River in Feb at Fort Washington Marina
and water temps in the mid 40's with air temps in the mid
50's. We could not have ask for a better day just alittle less
wind at times but still a great day for fishing. This was our
2nd tournament for the season and 17 teams would show
up to enjoy a spring like day in February.

With all the cold fronts that have been coming over us in
the last few weeks the bite was some what slow but anglers
found a few spots that put out some nice blue cats. We
started fishing at 8 am and all teams was back by 3 pm for
the weigh in. It was great to see a lot of people and their
kids come to watch us weigh in our catch of the day.

1st place would go to Team Cat-n-Around ( Rob & Rose
Wills w/ guest Brian Rupp) the winners with two fish of
78.8 lbs a nice 37.2 and a 41.6 lber that would also be the
big fish winner of the day. Taking home $298.00 for 1st
and $320.00 for big fish

2nd place would go to Tim Hagan & George Ostrom with
72.0 lbs a 39.6 & 32.6 and taken home $170.00

3rd place would go to the team of Tim Trigger & Josh
Fitchett with 71.02 lbs a 37.6 & a 33.6 taking home $128.00

4th place would be Carlos Hathcock & Mike Meier with
69.8 lbs 36.2 & 33.6 taking home $85.00
