Maryland Chapter

On Saturday March 22 we hit the Susquehanna River at
Glen Cove marina.The water was up and down all day
and the upper part of the river was really rolling. All the
teams fished around the warm water outlet where water
temp was in the 60's the main river was down to the low
40's with all the rain the two weeks before.

Seven team would fish this day and at times the sun in
their face and snow blowing on their backs. What was a
great channel cat river is slowly becoming a good
flathead fisherly 30 fish were weighed in 13 channels and
17 flatheads.

1st place & big fish would go to Robert Geiger & Bryan
Sirotkin with 4 flatheads at 61.0 lbs and the biggest of
the day at 17.8 lbs taking home 193.00 for 1st and 70.00
for big fish

2nd place went to Marty Scott / Sabin Rausch/ Gene
Mumma with 5 flatheads at 37.4lbs taking home 88.00

3rd place went to Tim Hagan/George Ostrom with 5
channel cats at 30.8 lbs

4th Harry Mathews/James Tyler 5 flatheads at 26.2 lbs
5th Rob & Rose Wills/ Steve Baum 3 channels & 2
flatheads 19.4 lbs
6th Robert May/Perston Carbough/John Benedict 5
channels 7.2 lbs
7th Matt Mumpower
Next season we will be here again in april or may to see
if we can't find some bigger flatheads. But the
Pennsylvania chapter will visit this river again this season
so stop up and support them as well.
