On Saturday May 3rd 12 teams of the Maryland Chapter fished in the first target weight tournament for this chapter. Debbie Fitchett would draw the weight from chips numbered from 30 to 75 lbs and the weight for this day would be 56 lbs.A target weight tournament lets you bring 5 fish to the scales to see who can get 56 lbs of fish. On this day Josh & Debbie Fitchett would bring 56lbs on the nose and take home $240.00 We ended up with two teams at 56.2 lbs and tied for seconds. both taking home $120.00 Bryan Sirotkin / Stephen Peppell Ed Welch / Craig Davidson Big fish of the day would go to the team of James Fields / John Gibson / Harry Wilhem with a very nice 47.2 lb blue they wouls also bring 55.4 lbs of wieght to the scales Other teams and weights from the tournament are Vince Rodger/Earl Steelberg/ Steve Baum 56.6 lbs Robert May / Robert Geiger 54.8 lbs Michael Pippenger/Bobby & Kevin Bartgis 54.6 lbs Rob & Rose Wills / James Tyler 45.8 lbs Tim Hagan / George Ostrom / Richard Yip 33.0 lbs Richard & Barbara Cox 24.8 lbs Alfred Smith Jr / Alfred Smith 3rd 9.2 lbs Marty & Michael Scott / Dawn Crumbaker (Boat Troubles) |
