The river is starting to recover from the flooding the had us move the tournament last weekend to the 20th. Lots of stuff still floating on the river , tons of little stuff and lots of bigger logs and trees still moving around in places. Water is still alittle high and the current in and around the main channel is really moving. 12 Teams would show up on one of the best days we have had in 2010 70+ degress with light winds just a great day to be out on the water. And after the Maryland chapter has had to drop it's first 3 tournaments this season do to Snow, Snow and more Snow everyone was looking forward to getting the line wets and talking with old friends again. A few new faces to our tournament trail as well as a few new members to the Catfish Nation. Plus on this day we would see a few new faces to the winners circle as well, this only goes to show that on the Potomac river anyone can come out on top. |
